La Bohème tells the story of four bohemians who live in the Latin Quarter of Paris in the 1970s. 1840, who suffer and enjoy for love. The poet Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, The musician Schaunard and the philosopher Colline confront the whims of the modest seamstress Mimi and the scandalous singer Musetta. This story of a group of young artists with little money reflects the composer's own experiences during his years at the Milan Conservatory., in between 1880 y 1883, where he shared a room with another poor music student, Pietro Mascagni.
