The Center of the Carme Culture Contemporary (CCCC) receive the next 11 June to the art critic, poet, curator and cultural manager Juan Manuel Bonet, within its cycle 'Art and Thought'. The cycle is directed by the art historian Catalina Martín Lloris. Under the title 'Looking at Spain from its avant-garde', the talk, free of admission, addresses the relationship between art and literature, as well as the role of the Spanish avant-garde in the construction of modernity and its connection with the current artistic situation.. From his experience in museums and institutions, Bonet will reflect on canon, memory and public responsibility. The conversation will also address the present: visual saturation, the loss of judgment and the need to educate one's gaze again. An invitation to think of art as living memory, not only as actuality or succession of isolated names.
