THE Valencia illustration days reach their ninth edition consolidating themselves as a key event for contemporary illustration in the city. Of the 24 al 26 April 13, the Cloister of La Nau is once again the setting for days that combine thought and practice around the theme Intersections: typography and illustration. With its already emblematic market with more than 200 artists and a graphic image signed by Hips, JIVs continue to strengthen their role as a meeting point for the creative community.
Among the highlights of this edition, live actions stand out, workshops, talks and hybrid proposals like Interline — Sound interlude for writing, the screening of the documentary Letters that mark with its director or meeting Ojo Garabato. Among the artists who will be part of the JIV 09 we have Lina Vila, The Creative Hake, Inma Carpena, Nico Barrios or Cento Yuste. The cloister will also host spaces such as the Kerning Club by Gnome, with music and activities, as well as a gastronomic proposal and actions linked to social commitment.
