On the centenary of the publication of the novel At the feet of Venus, in which Vicente Blasco Ibáñez draws a character inspired by the founder of our museum, The National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts 'González Martí' organizes this day dedicated to its presence in the collections.
A significant part of Blasco Ibáñez's legacy was deposited in this museum as a result of the close relationship that, from 1921, had with Manuel González Martí, bond that his children continued after his death.
The event aims to bring the public closer to the universal dimension of this Valencian author and highlight the imprint of his legacy in the museum's collections..
