After De soca-rel (2018) y Reversions (2020), and collaborating with Christian Penalba and María José Fernández on the album Folk a banda (2023), Jonathan Penalba presents his third solo album: Tarquim. If his first work focused on traditional themes and the second covered contemporary classics, In this third installment he once again delves into traditional music. Seguidillas, whom, to Havana, can't beat, fandango, cradle or vetlatori are the popular rhythms that give shape to this album. The news appears in the letters (written expressly for the occasion) and in the sound (that departs quite a bit from tradition, providing a contemporary sound and with light touches of electronics).
