In addition to Brahms' symphonies, This season, Les Arts offers fans the complete set of Beethoven's piano concertos. The brilliant pianist Javier Perianes joins the big names, like Daniel Barenboim or Vladimir Ashkenazi, who have directed this cycle from the piano, in a project that premieres at the National Auditorium of Madrid with the OCV and then takes it to Valencia and Castellón. The overwhelming sensitivity of Perianes' piano playing will illustrate the evolution since the two initial concertos, still full of Mozartian reminiscences but with energetic rhythms and the dramatic feeling of the young Beethoven, to the majestic grandeur and solemnity of the Emperor of his stage of full maturity, where dramatic tension and poetic flight reach perfect balance.
