Iván Ferreiro announces his new tour “Hoy x Yesterday”, a celebration of their 35 years of musical career that will review the most emblematic songs of his career, from The Pirates to the present.
He 1 April marked twenty years of “Songs for Time and Distance”, his first solo album. That anniversary has led the Galician artist to take stock of a lifetime dedicated to music: twelve studio albums, hundreds of concerts and many songs that have marked several generations. “It's been thirty-five years of songs and concerts, travel, hotels and roads. I don't look back with too much nostalgia, but I can't help but feel the vertigo of time nor can I avoid its weight. Faces appear before me, smiles, cities, studies and scenarios, and above all, songs. “Thirty-five years of songs.”, explains Iván Ferreiro.
The tour will feature the band that has accompanied him in recent years and will offer a different live performance: nearest, more focused on the voice and the songs. On stage, only with a microphone in your hand, the artist will offer a show that brings to the fore the essence of his repertoire.
