Illusions

This Tuesday 3 March to 19:30 hours Berklee Valencia presents the concert Illusions en CaixaForum València, an event that highlights the creativity and emerging talent of its student community.

The program offers a selection of original compositions created by students of the Master of Current Music, who will assume artistic leadership as arrangers and musical directors, under the supervision of the program director, Olga Roman. On stage, They will be accompanied by two students from the First Year Abroad program, who are studying their first year of degree at the Berklee campus in Valencia, and also by two local guest musicians.

The repertoire will include a reimagined version of “Illusions”, de Gregory Porter, which gives its name to the concert; “Branca pump”, emblematic portuguese song; y “Chiraj”, by Ralph Lavital, in addition to string arrangements made by students of the master's degree in Composition for Film, Television and Video Games.

With artists from more than 15 nationalities, Illusions will offer a unique evening where cultural diversity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the artistic excellence that characterizes Berklee's Valencian campus, will be protagonists.
