Cambra at the Palau presents Il Giardino d'Amore by the Baroque composer Alessandro Scarlatti, a work that exemplifies the elegance and expressive richness of the Italian Baroque. Considered one of the fundamental figures of Neapolitan opera, the transalpine composer developed a refined musical language that would deeply influence the European operatic tradition. The performance will be performed by Concerto 1700, ensemble specializing in baroque music founded and directed by the violinist Daniel Pinteño, dedicated to the recovery and dissemination of the repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries with historicist criteria. The concert will feature the voices of soprano Carlotta Colombo and countertenor Filippo Mineccia, two outstanding soloists in the baroque repertoire.
