The Fervor & Jone Martínez

On the occasion of the 300 years since the death of Alessandro Scarlatti, The Il Fervore ensemble dedicates a monographic program to the composer that traces the musical panorama of the early 18th century in Naples, where Scarlatti spent most of his life, with works representative of the main musical genres that he addressed, like opera, the concert and the serenade. The Basque soprano Jone Martínez performs the most notable arias from the opera Tiberio, imperatore d’Oriente and a selection from the serenade Clori, Dorino and Love, directed by the violinist Jesús Martínez at the head of this young group founded in 2021 and specialized in the historicist interpretation of baroque and preclassical music.
