One year has passed since the first edition of FIDO was held in San Nicolás and after the success achieved, The Parish of San Nicolás organizes this Festival again from the 17 from May to 7 of June, during 4 consecutive Fridays and will have exceptional interpreters. II FIDO offers a program designed by the musical director and principal organist of the Parish of San Nicolás, Atsuko Takano, which includes both Spanish and European works. This event helps to spread and promote music from the Renaissance to Baroque and Romanticism, thanks to the sound of the organ that the Parish has and a repertoire according to its musical style. Anton Bruckner (Ansfelden, 1824) Because this year we celebrate the 200 anniversary of his birth. Besides, Each of the performers will include at least one work by Valencian composers in their programs, like Cabanilles, and will perform works by international artists such as Bach or Bassano, among others. As on the previous occasion, One of the objectives is also to make the San Nicolás organ known in all its aspects, either as a soloist or as an accompanist. For it, San Nicolás will have relevant international organists such as Daniel Oyarzabal (Spain), Joseph Vincent Giner (Spain), Elisabeth Woltèche (Belgium), Atsuko Takano (Japan) e Ines Schüttengruber (Austria).
