A selection of works by artists belonging -mostly- to the Valencian school of painting from the second half of the 19th century, linked, largely, to the royal academies of Fine Arts, among which, that of San Carlos de Valencia has an outstanding role. The exhibition constitutes a unique opportunity to appreciate works of singular value by artists such as Ignacio Pinazo, Cecilia Pla, Antonio Fillol, Emilio Sala, Joaquín Agrasot, José Benlliure, Antonio Muñoz Degrain o Manuel Benedito. Besides, Some other works by artists closer to our time and with other pictorial approaches are included., as Francisco Lozano o Soledad Seville.
