Tribute to Antonio Llorens

In collaboration with the Valencian Audiovisual Academy, who granted him his Honor Award in 2022, we pay tribute to one of the most beloved people in the Valencian cultural world, The producer, film-maker, critic and programmer Antonio Llorens, who died in the past 19 of November, as 73 years. Critic of the Turia Billboard over several decades, author of almost a dozen books, producer and director, programmer of festivals such as the Mostra de Valencia and the Seminci and of the Babel and Albatros cinemas, cultural dynamizer and many other things, his work and his personality have left a deep mark on a good number of professionals from subsequent generations. The tribute includes the screening on Friday 20 from his feature film of 2002, After the hole, a reflection on the work of Jose Giovanni, and Wednesday 4 we gather three of his short films, including a posthumous one, The last days of Pompey, completed by its co-director Pedro Uris, Who, next to Giovanna Ribes, Piluca Baquero, Ángel Puig and Jorge Castillejo will remember the life and work of their friend, our friend, in a round table.
