Under the big top of the Great Alaska Circus, The waves come to life and the sea becomes a fantasy setting. “The Little Mermaid” is a circus adaptation of the classic story, where love, freedom and the desire to discover the world above are expressed through the body, music and flight.
In an ocean of blue lights and silver sparkles, a young mermaid dreams of knowing the surface. Her curiosity leads her to an encounter that will change her destiny.: a human prince who is shipwrecked among the waves. Since then, the little mermaid will begin a journey of emotions, sacrifices and transformations, narrated without words, with aerial acrobatics, aquatic dance, juggling and choreography inspired by the sway of the sea.
After the circus adaptation of “The Lion King”, “Aladin” and “Beauty and the Beast”, the Great Alaska Circus, returns with this show where the magic of great stories mixes with circus artistic disciplines in a wonderful fantasy world.
