Spin like planets that rotate in their nocturnal meadow. Spaces of affectivity between women is a collective proposal that explores the emotional bonds between women through contemporary art. The exhibition brings together works by 19 artists and proposes a tour through different artistic languages - photography, paint, installation, audiovisual, sculpture, ceramic and textile-, to address issues such as desire, the friendship, complicity, affective genealogies or forms of shared care. The project delves into the affections and disaffections between women based on contemporary artistic practices that dialogue with experience, memory and emotional genealogies. The show is organized around several resonance frames -com At that time (in another time), he continuous lesbian, the invisibility or specific difference-, which function as open fields where stories intersect, time and bodies. The present works explore sensitive and experiential territories where the vulnerable and the powerful coexist. Through images, various objects and materials, the proposals build a landscape of affectivity that challenges heteronormative discourses and recovers stories, links and stories that have been left out of the dominant historical narrative.
The exhibition gives voice to a series of artists: Nucbeade, Marta Galindo, O.R.G.I.A, Yera Moreno, Hanna Jarzabek, Andrea Rodriguez, Núria Martínez Continue, Olalla Gómez Valdericeda, Mercedes Azpilicueta, Isabel Martín and Paula Yubero, Laia Arqueros, Isabel Cordovil, BajoRufián and Sara Mono, whose works make up this constellation of views and practices.
