The sample, Commissioned by Salvador Haro, brings together for the first time the joint work of Xavier and Joan Gardy Artigas in a journey of more than a decade of collaboration between the two artists, who have made ceramics a shared language and friendship a form of creation. Xavier Vilató found in 2009 in Gallifa (Barcelona) and Joan Gard of Artigas ‘John’, Miró's collaborator, Braque, Giacometti o Chagall. Since then, Their artistic dialogue has given rise to a set of pieces in which both recognize themselves as 'germans de fang' (clay brothers). The exhibition brings together more than fifty ceramic works, fruit of this common creative process in which humor, experimentation and complicity are protagonists. From pieces like 'The fisherman and his fish friend' to recent sculptures like 'Fiesta o Culebrón', The exhibition allows us to delve into the work dynamics of the two creators.
