Frank Hurricane lands in The Bathysphere! The musician, American narrator and globetrotter Frank Hurricane arrives at Cabanyal on his first tour of Spain to offer an unforgettable night of blues, spiritual folk and road storytelling.
Defined by the criticism of “Raven Sings The Blues” as the "poet laureate of America's rusty bowels", Hurricane has been traveling the underground and self-management circuit for more than a decade (DIY) collecting stories from around the world. His particular everyday and captivating universe has been praised by music analysts such as Andy Cush (ex-Pitchfork and member of Garcia Peoples), who compares his lyrical look at deep America with the tradition of Walt Whitman.
In 2025, The PBS public network documentary focused on his life and musical career was nominated for an Emmy Award. Seeing him perform live, it is easy to understand the reason: a charming artist, close and magnetic that transforms each concert into an authentic and soulful journey.
