The magnificent work of its protagonist, the actress Paula Beer, it was awarded at the Berlinale and at the European Cinema Awards. In his next film, The red sky (2023), Petzold baffles and ironizes with the fragile masculinity and internal tensions of his characters; the film won the Grand Jury Prize in Berlin.
