The fusion between Flamenco and Jazz reaches a new dimension through this Big Band. Led by the Spanish-Dutch saxophonist Bernard van Rossum and awarded the “Rogier van Otterloo Award 2022”, has been through festivals such as the North Sea Festival (NL), Jazz San Javier, y Baby Jazz (Sud Africa) among others. In their 3 albums published have collaborated with Flamenco exponents such as Antonio Serrano, Carlos Benavent, David de Jacoba and Rafael de Utrera. After more than ten years of experience, van Rossum returns to FIJAZZ with his acclaimed big band, bringing together some of the most outstanding young figures of current flamenco and jazz, among them the singer María Marín, the virtuoso pianist Xavi Torres and the dancer Karen Lugo.
