The trip to the moon, was released on 1902 and is one of Georges Méliès' most recognized films. With The trip to the moon, Tries Titelles wanted to pay tribute to Méliès's film and to cinema in general and shares with it the ability to create illusion and the magic that represents living rather than watching an exciting story.
