The summit (Swedish Merda International Film Festival) has closed the definitive program with which it aims to test the endurance of its fans. this year, in what will be its thirteenth edition, will again offer a selection of trash, gore and underground made with four duros and props from the Friday market. It will be at the Bernat i Baldoví de Sueca Municipal Center, between the 23 and the 27 of September.
A total of 81 audiovisuals, 13 of them feature films. The festival will start on Wednesday 23 of September with his first animated feature film, Flight of Ducca Rios, a cyberpunk western that has been at the Moscow and São Paulo festivals. You can also see Program, el Blade Runner turc de Hakan Kadioglu. Both will be released in Spain.
Other featured feature films will be: A Sinister Tale (the folk tale of an old acquaintance of the festival, the Mexican Vaddir Sottelo), Ogre Reduction (the live action anime of the Japanese Kenichi Omori), Mutants of Nature Cove (Kirk Bowman's naturist fantasy), African Kung Fu Nazis II (three-way production between Japan, Ghana i Alemanya dirigida per Sebastian Stein i Samuel “Ninja Man” Nkansah) the Star False 2.0 (a reimagining of the Star Wars saga, work of the Finnish Ville Luukkonen).
Among the short films, well-known names that have already dazzled festival fans in other editions stand out. We will see the new creations of the first swords of the Star System of the CIM, com ara Balraj Kang, Pablo Llorens, Mahesh STR, Rama DeRanau, Fernando Alle or Guillaume Rieu.
Total, more than 20 hours of programming from all continents (except Antarctica) and of more than 20 nationalities, that promise to make you enjoy and suffer, in equal parts, to the daring fans of the festival who come to celebrate the death of summer in Sweden.
