The Center of the Carme Culture Contemporary (CCCC) offers on Thursday, 27 November at 19.00 hours, a new session of their cycle 'Encuentros en el Carmen' starring the local bands 'Mr Sanchez' and 'Johnny B. Zero’, two Valencian independent rock groups that are emerging on the national music scene.
‘Mr Sanchez’, Valencian group formed in London eight years ago and settled in Valencia since 2018, has achieved numerous recognitions in recent years by combining various elements of Anglo-Saxon alternative rock with lyrics in Spanish..
For your part, ‘Johnny B. Zero’, Valencian indie rock band, unites daringly poetic lyrics with a powerful sound, sensual and colorful. He has just released his album 'Pequeños calvarios', central theme of the film of the same name by the Valencian, Javier Polo, that you have received, among others, the nomination for Best Original Song at the Lola Gaos film awards.
The new meeting, with free entry and hosted by the singer and producer, Quique López, invites the public to get up close and personal with the members of these bands and their experiences, told by themselves, as well as enjoy some of their songs with an acoustic music session.
