In his sculptural and installation practice, Eva Fàbregas (Barcelona, 1988) works with soft and malleable materials, highlighting the physical and sensory dimension of forms. His work is about learning through the fingers, recognizing touch as a primary source of knowledge. The sculptures, often, They remind us of the organs of the body and its voluptuous glands., but also look at prosthetics and their non-human life forms like corals, polyps and the reproductive parts of plants. As if a museum or a ship could be, also, a system with lungs, gut and membranes. Only between the years 2024 i 2025, Eva Fàbregas' work has been exhibited in spaces such as the Basel Social Club, in Basel; the Madrid Slaughterhouse, the MAC Mataró, to the MANIFESTO 15; the MACBA and the Hayward Gallery in London.
