PHILIPPE CLAUDEL (Nancy, 1962) has been a teacher, film and television director and screenwriter. Mainly dedicated to literature, has won the Goncourt des Lycéens Prize 2007 for his book The Brodeck Report. His prose, lyrical at times and calm, delves into the darkest edges of the human being. Considered one of the best French writers of his generation, manages to leave a deep imprint on its readers through disturbing stories, sometimes governed by the codes of fable.
