Encounters and disenchantments: What remains of the day

We start 2025 with a cycle dedicated to love meetings and disenchantments. The characters in the films we propose are captivated by the intensity of a love bond. JA follow epímer or sleeping, present o passat, The passage of time is crucial because of various circumstances. The consequences of manifest past actions in the present, The scarcity of the time the lovers have or the uncertainty with respect to the future are pierced by their relationships. Its protagonists oscillates between the irremediable lovingly loving, Melancholy caused by distance, the idealization of platonic, the torment of guilt, jealousy i, invariably, the fear of what they will say to.

All sessions will take place in the Auditorium of the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, with presentation, comments and debate by the professors. Teresa Sorolla (Jaume I University of Castelló) i Carlos Cuéllar (University of Valencia).

The films will be screened in their original version with subtitles.
