The cello and piano duo “Idus Duo”, is formed by Rocío Cintero Ramírez and Pau Gil Cortés. The exhibition pays tribute to the figure of women through pieces that invite us to hear the voice of women in its many facets: com a mare, as a lover, as creator and protagonist of her own narrative. Talk about "music and women" in the plural, implica reconèixer la diversitat de creacions, of styles and struggles that women have made and continue to make in this universal art, defying gender barriers, stereotypes and power structures through the centuries. Women have been an essential part of music since ancient times, although their contributions have often been invisible or minimized.
