Emigradas investigates the experience of migration from the body, understanding the movement as a living archive, witness and identity survival tool. The work addresses the invisible processes that the migrant body goes through: the constant transformation, the tension between belonging and remaining, and reinvention as the only way to live in the present. It's not just about representing a theme, but to inhabit it scenically and emotionally.
The project presents a double program: Loca i La Lunares. In Loca three performers face their fears, inherited stereotypes and mandates that condition their evolutionary identity. Lunares is an intimate journey where the body is presented as a mutable memory. The character moves from oppression to self-affirmation, finding a place of their own.
INTERPRETERS: Loca – Ariadna Llussà, Deivid Barrera and Úrsula Mercado. The Polka Dots – David Barrera.
