Humans are more than guts and organs. We have the ability to dream, to project our life, and that is why fiction is as necessary to us as bread and water. Our reality is usually bland and imperfect. However, we don't settle for the fate that a supposed demiurge awards us and that's why we rebel against it. But too often we are lousy screenwriters of our own lives and long for images and projections that comfort us and make us better. In the same way as in the heat of a cave, thousands of years ago, a storyteller encouraged us to survive and convinced us that we were stronger and smarter than the animal we had to kill, even today we need a screenwriter to transform us, that makes us believe that we can have a life full of vicissitudes, that we can die with dignity or that we can, why not?, get the boy or girl of our dreams.
