understanding of nature, the transformation of the landscape and ecological awareness has become significantly complicated. Rethinking the political background and the meanings of nature, the obsession with green from an aesthetic point of view, which Alain Roger in his “Brief Treatise on Landscape” baptized as Verdolatría. We are living in a time where love for nature inspires all kinds of illusions, This is how Ramón del Castillo describes it,”…the desire to escape to green areas has taken on a new meaning in an era dominated by ecological dreams and collective delusions of design…”
The garden is the result of whim, the entire earth is conceived as a garden, the lost eden.
The remains of our lives emerge among the trees, between the bushes. Objects made of eternal materials become scars of the forest.
and I wonder, How to preserve the silence of the landscape?
In this exhibition I mix the outside world, interior, observation and my own hallucination in a particular space where poetry prevails, turning it into a Garden of Delusions.
