The poetry of Antonina Canyelles takes to the stage of La Màquina Teatro. The Mallorcan company Estudi Zero brings it to the stage for what it is: word spoken out loud, that sometimes caresses and other times bites. The great madhouse explores Canyelles' collection of poems with transgressive texts, anti-fascism, anticlericalism, a daring feminism and a republican vein that beats in every verse. It is not a typical recital: The montage plays with temperatures and with the celebration of words in its most playful and sensual side.. Life and death, distress, rage and celebration, in the voice of one of the freest poets of the Balearic Islands.
