Jordi Savall, legendary figure of early music and Prince of Asturias Prize for the Arts, returns to the Palau de la Música with a project that recovers the splendor of the Venetian Baroque. The program immerses itself in the sound universe of the Hospital of Mercy, the institution where Antonio Vivaldi developed much of his creative work training women musicians of exceptional talent. Accompanied by La Capella Reial de Catalunya and the female formation Les Musiciennes du Concert des Nations, Savall directs a Vivaldi monograph that includes masterpieces such as Glory in D major and the Magnificat. This subscription ticket stands out not only for the interpretive excellence of Savall and his ensembles, but also for the participation of the violinist Lina Tur Bonet as concertino, offering a historical recreation of the musical atmosphere that made Venice the cultural center of Europe in the 18th century.
