The Delara duo is formed by Isabel García Castro (cello) and Celia Denore López (piano). It is founded on 2021 a Lucerne (Swiss), city where they both completed the Master's degree in classical music performance. The project arises from their affinity for chamber music and the shared desire to delve deeper into the repertoire for cello and piano.. His work combines musical research with a strong artistic vocation, and is characterized by sensitivity towards other languages such as contemporary music, jazz and interdisciplinary art.
As a duo they have received training with teachers such as Hiroko Sakagami, Christian Polter and Ivo Hag. They have been selected to participate in several Swiss festivals, as Young Music Switzerland (Bellinzona), Tribschen salon concerts (Museo Richard Wagner, a Lucerne), KriensIndustryConcerts (Kriens), as well as in the laCaixa Microconcerts cycle (CaixaForum of Valencia).
In addition to his artistic activity, The duo maintains a social commitment through their voluntary participation in solidarity initiatives. Since its formation, They regularly offer free concerts at the Unterlöchi residence (Lantern), intended for older people, and at Manna Kaffe in Heidelberg, a space that welcomes homeless people or people in situations of social exclusion.
With a proposal that balances tradition and experimentation, Delara seeks to generate meaningful musical experiences, accessible and close, establishing a direct link with diverse audiences inside and outside the usual classical music circuit.
