El Jimmy Glass presenta el Double Take, a new musical project, a jazz quintet that pays tribute to the influences and sounds of some of the most emblematic groups of the genre. This group is made up of talented musicians: Àlex Fernández and José Luis Rodrigo on trumpets, Conxi Lorente al piano, Garry Jackson on double bass and Tico Porcar on drums. The quintet focuses on the exploration and reinterpretation of works by great masters such as Woody Shaw and Freddie Hubbard, specifically from their albums Double take (1986) y The eternal triangle (1975). The group offers new arrangements that will allow a new creative vision to be brought to each piece., fusing their individual influences and developing a cohesive style that reflects the essence of the quintet.
