Young artists star in the exhibition Dispute and pause inaugurated in the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (VAT) within the research and production program Art i Context. The exhibition brings together the creative works developed over two years by six artists from the Valencian context.: Beautiful Báguena (Valencia, 1994), Pablo Bolumar (Garden nord, 1996), Juan de Dios Morenilla (Caravaca de la Cruz, 1992), Marco Henri (Metz, 1998), Gema Quiles (Vila-real, 1994) and Sandra Mar (Valencia, 1995). The biannual project Art i Context nation in 2021 with the aim of supporting Valencian art, both in the field of research and in the conceptualization and production of new works by emerging or young artists. If in the first edition of the program the final productions of those selected revolved around the scenario of instability that framed that generation of artists, In this second edition “the dispute” between continent and content, between the museum and the work of art, forms the framework in which the exhibition takes place.
