Deadletter

The British Deadletter will rotate in April of 2026 to present his next album, “Existence Is Bliss”, that will be published on 27 of February on the seal So Recordings. At the moment, to whet your appetite, The first advance single from the aforementioned album is now available, the song “To The Brim”, which also comes with its corresponding video clip. To salivate more.

With its brand new single “To The Brim”, Deadletter inaugurate a new stage, entering a more sophisticated and fluid sound, with a sublime production and the raw voice of its vocalist Zac Lawrence as a unifying element. About this song, The band has stated the following: “In ‘To The Brim’ we explore the experience of dealing with denial and living with it, and how it leaves you feeling incapacitated and filled with despair. Musically, we wanted a new beginning, perhaps as a reaction to that denial”.

And sticking to what will be his next album, These are the words that the British formation has displayed: “We are surrounded, totally enveloped by impurity and subjected to the lassitude left by its implacable jaws. Choosing to live in the midst of this reality, instead of simply existing in it, es, paraphrasing a great philosopher, a heroic act. The temptation to choose the latter is a powerful and all-too-familiar feeling; however, look into each other's eyes, choose to embrace life's struggles and use the world's oxygen not to breathe, but to act, to enjoy; that's what makes us human. To exist is bliss, But living is a great agitation whose reward is unlimited..

Coming from Yorkshire, but with roots in the south of London, Deadletter have so far channeled the fury of The Fall and the unbalanced rhythms of LCD Soundsystem in a variety of vehement post-punk, exploring the darker side of existence through a lens of lightness driven by its narrative. Its members have been friends for years., so that there is an instinctive understanding between them of the danceability of their music, something worth its weight in gold, without cheapening the nuances and determination of its sound.
