Cortoons Gandia is an international festival of animated short films. The number edition 21 will take place at the Teatro Serrano de Gandia on the days 23/24/25/26 de octubre y en el Campus de Gandia de la UPV el día 24. This edition has received more than 2.700 short films 110 countries. It is a festival, organized by Alessandro d’Urso, with the sponsorship of the Gandia City Council, the Valencian Institute of Culture and the Gandia Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, hosts many artists from all over the world, whether they are animators, film directors, artistas digitales…
Como es costumbre del Cortoons, tenemos invitados especiales: un encuentro con el maestro del dibujo Paco Roca (24/10); Hermoti una estrella de los doblajes divertidos y Isatxa Mengibar la mítica voz, among many, de Lisa Simpson, Jinx de Arcane y Pipi Calzaslargas, que juntos actuarán en un show de doblaje (25/10). In addition to these great moments, We will also have the screening of out-of-competition feature films: Flow, El chico y la garza y Memorias de un caracol, con un taller de origami para familias, y una sala interamente dedicata al TCG; TCG es el acrónimo en inglés de Trading Card Game, que en español se traduce como Juego de Cartas Coleccionables.
Unas retrospectivas sobre Jan Svankmajer, Blu, Wallace y Gromit y el Pato Donald completarán la rica programación del Cortoons 2025.
