The troubadours were poet-musicians whose poetic and musical activity developed mainly among Western European courts, especially in France of the 12th and 13th centuries, as well as in the old Crown of Aragon. With the troubadours, music and poetry combined in the service of the ideal of courtly love, feels love/lovelessness the main theme in troubadour poetry, and the need to express it musically led to the establishment of various genres (tired, shepherd them, dawns…). Capella de Ministrers offers us a suggestive trip to the medieval era at the hands of troubadours such as Berenguer de Palou or Ponç d’Ortafà, among others, linked to the figure of James I "the Conqueror".
