Encounters and disagreements: portraits of the connection constitutes the presentation of the acquisition program Public University Collections and Cañada Blanch, in its first edition. This innovative program is established with the firm conviction that dialogue and cooperation between different institutions are essential to strengthen and enrich the cultural sector of the Valencian community.. This edition marks a significant milestone with the accession, in addition to the already established Cañada Blanch Foundation, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the University of Valencia, to acquire works of art that will expand and enrich their respective collections. These collections bring art closer to civil society, allowing the community at large to enjoy and reflect on contemporary art. This commitment reinforces our support and promotion of current culture, ensuring art is accessible and relevant to all people. The exhibition, Encounters and disagreements: connection portraits, not only aims to reflect the interconnection between technology, globalization and history, but also be a testimony of human relationships and our bond with nature. The work of art acts as a bridge between worlds, disciplines and perspectives, representing the various ways in which we are intertwined. Invites us to reflect on how we live, we experience and understand interconnection.
Transcending mere technological interaction, encompassing human relationships, deep resonance with our natural environment, the constant dialogue between cultures and identities, and the palpable influence of history on our current reality. Even the connections between various artistic techniques are explored.. This way, encourages us to reflect on how, Despite the diversity of our experiences, we share a common fabric. So, the work of art, regardless of your technique or material, is able to dialogue about these intersections of human and natural life, from the past and present, of the individual and the collective.
