The Set Espai d’Art gallery presents for the Valencia Open 2026 the exhibition “Light Shadow Glade”, a project developed by Luciana Novo (Córdoba, Argentina) and Javier Palacios (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain), worked from a distance and arranged with a careful montage that combines the works of both in a kind of revealing threshold, suspended atmosphere. From the allusion to that sudden moment in which the light breaks through, to a moment of lucidity caused by a crack, when something stops on the shadow line and time is turned off, both artists look at the strangeness of symbols, to the uncertainty of forms and the fantasy of any transition. Pieces modeled in clay, detailed painting exercises, natural representations and ancestral abstractions, heroes and animals in transition, twilight colors and warm accents in a fragment of expanding open cosmos.
