The Art and Thought cycle brings us closer to the universe of urban art and comics, as artistic languages, with the presentation of the comic LIFE MISSION, first work in this format by the Valencian artist DEIH (Valencia, 1978).
The author, internationally recognized for his career in urban art and his visual universe linked to science fiction and emotional exploration, will share the creative process behind the project, addressing both the narrative construction and the aesthetic development of the work.
The session will be directed by Catalina Martín Lloris, Doctor in Art History and vice dean of the degree in Multimedia Design and Digital Arts at the Catholic University of Valencia, and will feature the participation of the writer and journalist Eduardo Almiñana, regular collaborator in cultural media.
During the presentation, the themes that cover LIFE MISSION will be explored in depth., like identity, the search for meaning and the relationship between the individual and their environment, through a fragmented and open narrative.
The meeting will include a space for dialogue with the public, encouraging participation and the exchange of ideas around comics, artistic creation and contemporary processes of cultural production.
