Cartographies of black memory: Black Archives and Memory Communities

Journalist and researcher Tania Safura Adam will present Black Archives and Communities of Memory: practices to inhabit the past in the present, an exploration of the ways in which black communities have preserved their memory outside of institutions: in gestures, sounds, everyday objects and practices. The day will close with a recital by the Equatorial Guinean poet César Brandon Ndjocu.
