The activities of Cambra als Horts arrive, that transfer the theme and spirit of the Festival dels Horts to the last months of the year. Villa Rosita, the Montesinos family farmhouse located in the heart of the Picanya orchard, becomes once again the scene of intimate recitals, with artists at your fingertips! Following the theme of this edition, the Festival dels Horts team presents the proposal LATIN COLORS next wednesday 2 from October at 8pm in the Espai Hivernacle, a conservatory with views of the garden. The recital, by the young guitarist Ausiàs Parejo, will include music by Leo Brouwer, Claudia Montero and Manuel M. Ponce, among others. This is a unique opportunity to listen to an artist with great projection. And it is that, with alone 18 years, Ausiàs Parejo has received numerous awards and has performed in countries such as France, Italia, Croatia, Portugal and the Czech Republic, as well as in Japan, United States and Mexico. He has recently recorded an album for Naxos as winner of the prestigious Alhambra Competition.
The second and last recital of this proposal will take place on 5 of November, also at 8pm. The violist Isabel Villanueva will return to Picanya with his latest and renowned project: RITUAL. Isabel was one of the first performers to visit the Festival dels Horts in 2018. In recent years, has continued its upward career, becoming a reference among viola soloists and “an artist who takes risks”, according to the prestigious magazine The Strad.
