"Chamber at the Palace" receives the visit of the Jerusalem Quartet, one of the most dynamic and acclaimed chamber formations on the international scene. The ensemble presents a program that covers three fundamental aesthetics of the genre: from the luminous classicism of the famous quartet “Aurora” by Haydn, passing through the dramatic and almost literary intensity of the “Sonata Kreutzer” de Janáček, to the suggestive colors and formal perfection of Maurice Ravel's quartet. With its characteristic balance between technical precision and emotional depth, the Jerusalem Quartet offers a lesson in artistic maturity in the Sala Rodrigo, consolidating his reputation as an indisputable reference in the interpretation of the great repertoire for string quartet.
