The Budapest Festival Orchestra returns to Sala Iturbi with its founder and principal conductor, the charismatic teacher Iván Fischer. The Hungarian orchestra proposes a program with a deep Germanic accent that begins with the bright and festive Symphony no. 3 “Rena” de Robert Schumann, inspired by the beauty of the Rhine landscape. The second part is dedicated to one of the peaks of Wagnerian drama: the colpidor final scene of La Valquiria. For this great closing, it will feature the voices of Swedish soprano Ingela Brimberg and German baritone Hanno Müller-Brachmann, two international specialists in the Wagner repertoire, whose participation guarantees an interpretation of great emotional power and stylistic rigor.
