He 26 y 27 February, Thursday and Friday respectively, at 19:30 h, Berklee at Les Arts presents Larger than Life at the Martín i Soler Theater of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. This new edition of the Berklee a Les Arts cycle, that closes its season 2025/2026, pays tribute to film music and its extraordinary power to transform the human into a legend.
The latest proposal from this collaboration between Berklee Valencia and the Palau de les Arts is inspired by Julius Caesar in Egypt de George Frideric Handel, a work in which sound becomes power and history fades into myth. From this idea, Larger than Life build a stage experience that connects music, narrative and movement from a contemporary perspective. With the participation of more than 20 interpreters, including vocalists, actors, dancers and instrumentalists, production gives life to 12 iconic figures of cinema through a repertoire of great film classics such as The last emperor, Frida, Braveheart o chariots of fire, among others. Larger than Life explores the power of music to transform the everyday into the eternal, stories in legends and the mortal in myth, offering a sensory experience that transcends genres and formats.
