Berklee at Les Arts returns the days 20 y 21 November at 19:30 hours at the Martín i Soler Theater of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía with "Antihero", a concert inspired by opera The Troubadour, by the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi.
Under the curatorship of Nacho Moltó and the musical direction of Albert Palau, Berklee Valencia highlights the figure of the antihero. during the concert, reflections on the music of artists like Fela Kuti will be shared, Joni Mitchell, Astor Piazzolla, Elis Regina, Frank Zappa, Fiona Apple, Hector Lavoe and Johnny Cash.
In this edition, Berklee will dedicate this performance by its students to all those affected by DANA that has hit the Valencia region. Besides, Box office proceeds will go to Valencian musical societies affected by the floods. The channeling of this aid will be done through the initiative of charity concerts which has been launched by the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV).Berklee a les Arts, a collaboration between the Palau de les Arts and Berklee, invites the public to discover new intersections between music and other artistic disciplines through the works performed at Les Arts.
