The session proposes a tour of the phenomenon of solar eclipses, explaining their origin and the interest they have aroused since ancient times.

During the conference the characteristics of each eclipse and its visibility zones in Spain will be addressed., the keys to an optimal experience, cultural relevance, historical and scientific nature of these events and the opportunities for citizen science and astronomical tourism.
