In her new project Aurora Roja, Jose Pazos (Future Horror), Oscar Mezquita (countless bands and Flexididis) and Paula Guillem (Sorry for everything) they bet everything on pop. Pure pop, bright, minimalist and of unprecedented textural delicacy. If before you looked at the Wipers you now look at The Evens, The Bats o Dick Diver. Aurora Roja present themselves to the world as truly great bands: with a song of the same name. A great little anthem wrapped in vocal harmonies that seeks to be a necessary silver lining in this dystopian world.. And it is that, as in the novel by Baroja that they quote, that red dawn that “will creak the old social building” shines again.
The Old Faith
The Old Faith is born in 2024, fruit of years of friendship and parallel projects between Rafael Antón and José Aguado. After accumulating ideas and compositions that did not fit into his previous works, both decided to join forces to give them life in a new context: an electronic pop project without complexes. Between finals of 2024 y 2026, They released several singles, compiled in the EP 'What Would I Be Thinking About'. In May 2026 They released their first album, 'New Star that Emerges'.
