These activities are part of the programming of the Narrative Classroom, a cultural space employed by the Vice-Rectorate of Culture and Society of the University of Valencia, dedicated to fostering literary creation, reading and writing through meetings with authors, conferences, round tables and workshops, obert tant a la comunitat universitària com al públic general, amb l’objectiu de connectar la literatura amb la vida acadèmica i els debats de la societat contemporània.
He 12 de febrer se celebrarà la tertúlia Narrate the threatened city, en la qual participaran l’escriptor i crític literari Jordi Amat, author of The battles of Barcelona, i el novel·lista i geògraf Josep Vicent Boira, author of Valencia. the city. La sessió serà presentada pel periodista i escriptor Paco Cerdà, junt amb la responsable de l’Aula de Narratives, la catedràtica de la Universitat de València Cristina García Pascual.
He 17 de febrer la programació continuarà amb l’activitat Mimesis and emotions in French music and literature, by Lydia Vázquez i Teo Sanz, catedràtics de literatura francesa, en una proposta conjunta de l’Aula de Narratives i l’Aula de Música de la Universitat de València.
El cicle continuarà el 26 de febrer amb l’encontre Forking paths. A brief history of power, from Neanderthals to Trump, que comptarà amb la participació del filòsof i assagista José Luis Villacañas.
He 26 of March, el Centre Cultural La Nau acollirà l’encontre under the togas. Judicial errors and other infamies, amb la participació del fiscal i excomissionat de Drets Humans de l’ONU Carlos Castresana, en col·loqui amb el professor de Dret Internacional de la Universitat de València José Elías Esteve i la responsable de l’Aula de Narratives, Cristina García Pascual.
La programació es tancarà el 14 de maig amb l’encontre El fin del mundo común, protagonitzat per la politòloga Máriam Martínez-Bascuñán, professora de Ciència Política a la Universitat Autònoma de Madrid.
