The University of Valencia, through the Classroom of Scene Arts, gives continuity to its stage season with a new proposal of productions for the second semester of the course 2025-2026. Between the months of January and June, the Sala Matilde Salvador of the La Nau Cultural Center will offer a careful and wide selection of theater performances, today and performance which combine contemporary creation, classic texts and proposals linked to the university field.
The month of May will be marked by premieres and important shows. The new production of the Escena Erasmus European Theater Project of the University of Valencia will premiere on the following days 6, 7 i 8 of May. Under the title conquests, Josep Valero will direct the new creation of the university company based on a dramaturgical proposal written by six playwrights coordinated by Guada Sáez.
The first level permanent theater workshop show will take place on the day 12, and the second level, entitled My love, the days 14 i 15, both directed by Pep Sanchis.
free women, the political dams and the generation of the TOP by Iván Campillo will be performed on the days 20 i 21 of May by La Voz Ahogada Stage Project. Within the 'Singular' cycle, the Sala Matilde Salvador will host on Wednesday 27 Sex or no sex for beginners by Meli León, directed by Jaime Ocaña. The last date of this season of the 'Intersections' cycle will be on Thursday 28 of May with the show Pre-made by Silvia Sahuquillo and Alberto Jiménez de Dios.
For its part, Essay Theater Group of the University of Valencia, under the direction of Pep Sanchis, will premiere the days 3, 4 i 5 of June Natalicia's anniversary, a production that will stage the new text by Iria Márquez. Also, the Senior Theater Group of the University of Valencia will represent If the caryatids raised their heads, conducted by Tono Berti and Pura Marco, the days 10, 11 i 12 of June. Finally, the Amics de la Nau Gran Theater Group will close the year with Learning from the man who planted trees, with script and direction by Clemente Carrasco.
